Located on the north-east coast of the Île d’Yeu, Port-Joinville is your first port of call on the island. It is also the island’s most vibrant spot with its shops, bars and restaurants.
The town is not just easy on the eye - it’s also perfect for sailing:
Port-Joinville accommodates monohulls and multihulls, sailing boats and motor boats, and is extremely sheltered in all weather conditions. The port is an essential waypoint between Belle-Île and La Rochelle and is also visited by vessels heading to the mouth of the Loire from the south-west.
Take a look at the map to find all the port’s useful places at a glance (tourist office, mini-market, post office, bar, restaurant, etc).
